Tips and Great Advice

We always recommend a licensed professional for any repair or replacement of HVAC equipment.

Did you know the state of Texas REQUIRES any technician working in your residence to be registered?  To protect the residents of Texas a background check is ran for criminal offenses.  Go to www.license.state.tx.us/acr/acr.htm to learn more or check for current registered technicians.

Here is a few ideas that homeowners can use.

My unit is not running?

  • Check the thermostat-is it on the proper setting?
  • Check the breakers

My unit is not cooling/heating?

  • Check the thermostat-is it set high enough or low enough to call for heat or cool?
  • Check the filter
  • See if the outside unit is running(cooling)

What is the emergency or auxiliary heat setting on my thermostat?

On a heat pump system this setting turns off the heat pump and only uses the electric or gas heat to heat the home.  You can use this setting whenever the heat pump is not working properly, it does not have to be an emergency.

When buying and selling stocks the best advice is to buy low and sell high!

Never give advice,

a wise man does not need it and a fool will not heed it.

Great letter sent by Clyde Barrow to Henry Ford

 Dear Sir:

While I still have got breath in my lungs I will tell you what a dandy car you make.  I have drove Fords exclusively when I could get away with one.  For sustained speed and freedom from trouble the Ford has got every other car skinned, and even if my business hasent been strickly legal it don't hurt enything to tell you what a fine car you got in the V8.

Yours truly

Clyde Champion Barrow
